What if I Already Signed up to Receive an Absentee Ballot?
- If you signed up for an absentee ballot to be sent to you for all elections, the
City Clerk will automatically send you a ballot on September 25, 2025. - If you signed up for an application for an absentee ballot to be sent to you for
all elections, the City Clerk will automatically send you an application for an
absentee ballot on September 25, 2025.
If you want your voice to be heard, complete and return the application
and the City Clerk will send you an absentee ballot.
How to Request an Absentee Ballot
You can apply for an absentee ballot using any of the following methods:
- In Person: Visit the City Clerk’s Office at Rochester City Hall
- By Email: Send a signed application to elections@rochestermi.org.
- Online: Apply through the Michigan Secretary of State’s website.
How do I Return my Absentee Ballot?
- In Person: Visit the City Clerk’s Office at Rochester City Hall
- Drop Box: Submit your signed application using the Elections Drop Box located on the west side of the Municipal Building.
- By Mail: Use the prepaid postage application form sent by the City. Voters are encouraged to mail an absentee ballot at least two weeks before Election Day to avoid potential mailing delays.
